The jambu fruit dove (Ptilinopus jambu) is a smallish colourful fruit dove. It is a resident breeding species in southern Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei and the Indonesian islands of Kalimantan, Sumatra and Java.

The male has a red malar (cheek) stripe.

Splendid Fairy-wrens (Malurus splendens) are socially monogamous but sexually promiscuous, meaning that although males and females partner with one another they will quite happily mate with other individuals, then more often than not, remain to help raise the young.

The chucao tapaculo (Scelorchilus rubecula) is a species of bird in the family Rhinocryptidae. It is found in central Chile and adjacent Argentina; it has also been recorded in Chile’s Magallanes Province.

The chestnut-breasted chlorophonia (Chlorophonia pyrrhophrys) is a bird measuring about 12 cm in length and weighing in at 16 to 18 g. It has a short tail and beak coupled with dark brown irises, dark gray legs, and a blackish bill along with a pale gray base on the lower jaw.

The yellow warbler (Setophaga petechia, formerly Dendroica petechia), is a New World warbler species. All 35 subspecies look very similar, only differing in males when in breeding plumage. Yellow warblers however are a greenish-yellow on their upper parts with a bright yellow below. The eyes and beak are dark, while the feet are a lighter or darker olive.

The European robin (Erithacus rubecula), known simply as the robin or robin redbreast in Ireland and Britain, is a small insectivorous passerine bird that belongs to the chat subfamily of the Old World flycatcher family.

The red warbler (Cardellina rubra) is a small passerine, measuring 12.5–13.5 cm (4.9–5.3 in) in length, weighing in at 7.6 to 8.7 g (0.27 to 0.31 oz). Adult birds are red overall, with either a white or dark gray (depending on the subspecies) auricular patch on each side of their heads. The wings and tail are slightly darker, dusky red, and edged in pinkish-red.

The ruddy kingfisher (Halcyon coromanda), is a medium-sized tree kingfisher, widely distributed in east and southeast Asia. 25 cm in length this bird has a large, bright red below, finished off below with equally bright red legs. Their bodies are a shade of orange rust red which deepens to a lovely purple at the tail which is mostly not seen unless the bird is in flight.
