Each dog is unique. We are incredibly blessed to have them in our lives. However, every now and then, a dog happens whose inherent senses exceed those of an ordinary dog. This is the story of Aladdin, a very extraordinary dog. Aladdin is a pit bull who had a harsh upbringing. He was terribly neglected. He was starving when he was put in a murder shelter. He lost 12 teeth and had serious bone difficulties.
The beautiful Taurus is not able to bend its hind legs. To compensate for his issues, he sits, Lays, and walks in a strange way. Fortunately, his future mother, Michelle, found him at the murder shelter and immediately fell in love with him! In the video below, she reveals that despite everything he’s been through and his obvious misery, he wagged his tail the moment they met!
Aladdin became a licensed therapy dog within a year of his adoption. This was due to Aladdin’s unique ability to communicate with people. He is really fond of children. Even if the room is full of people, Aladdin will find a way for those who need his help the most. No one knows for sure, but it seems that he is able to realize their emotional suffering. Perhaps this is due to his past. Probably because his deformed legs still cause him pain.
After the shooting in the Orlando nightclub, Aladdin was at the scene. He made his way through the mob and approached a man. No one knew who was inside the club or standing up for support because the crowd was so huge. Aladdin, on the other hand, did! He ran up to a man who said: “This dog looked at me and knew that I needed him.”He found out that he was inside the club, and Aladdin felt the need for this beautiful man to feel protected. It was a touching moment.
This wonderful dog not only heals people, but also calms dogs that have been tortured or traumatized. Despite everything that Aladdin does for dogs and people, he still has to fight with the stigma of the dog breed. His mother has firsthand knowledge with how difficult it can be. Children will flock to pet Aladdin, but as soon as some parents wonder about his breed and realize that he is a pit bull, they will pull their children away from him. Michelle, Aladdin’s mother, is trying very hard to correct this! She loves dressing him up to make him more approachable, even if she has to do it!
Aladdin also received honors. The Humane Society of the United States named him the ” therapy dog of the year.”For Aladdin, this was a watershed moment. A gentleman from the audience at the award banquet approached Michelle and offered the work to Aladdin for free. The veterinarian was positive in his ability to reduce the bulk of his orthopedic suffering. Isn’t that incredible?!
The story of Aladdin continues, and we guarantee that it will only get better. We were amazed by this dog and his amazing ability to communicate with people and other dogs in need.
