It was a sunny Saturday afternoon in the Ritcherson household. 8-year-old Timmy Ritcherson was busy decorating the backyard with colorful balloons and streamers. His mom, Sarah, was in the kitchen baking a special doggy birthday cake. And Timmy’s dad, Mark, was setting up the grill to cook some tasty burgers and hot dogs for the family.
