Wiz Khalifa recently made an appearance on “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson” alongside co-host DJ Whoo Kid, and shared a humorous video of them doing a challenging exercise involving marijuana on Instagram.
In the video, a podcast producer can be heard urging the Taylor Gang leader to demonstrate a “kush-up” to Tyson, but the rapper responds that Tyson already knows how to do it.
Although Mike Tyson may be unbeatable in the boxing ring, it seems Wiz Khalifa has the upper hand in terms of smoking marijuana.
However, it appeared that the boxer needed a reminder.
During an appearance on “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson” with DJ Whoo Kid as co-host, Wiz Khalifa shared a funny video of the two of them attempting a challenging Mary Jane exercise on Instagram.
In the video, Khalifa explained to the confused-looking Tyson that a kush-up involves a smoker inhaling weed 10 times while also doing push-ups before finally blowing it out.
Tyson tried to follow Khalifa’s instructions to keep the smoke in his mouth per puff, but he only made it to two inhales before he began coughing uncontrollably.
“That was two, that was two, you know. So, we’ll work on the kush-ups,” Khalifa told the boxing champ.
“Thank you,” Tyson replied while trying to catch his breath. He then said, “Oh God, help me.”
Khalifa’s video received over four million plays with over 4,000 comments from fans who found the entire interaction amusing.
At the end of the video, Tyson seemed to need some help catching his breath after attempting the kush-up challenge with Wiz Khalifa. Despite the rapper’s instructions, Tyson only made it through two inhales before coughing uncontrollably. Khalifa shared the video on Instagram, finding humor in the situation and captioning it “SMOKIN WIT CHAMP” followed by “Somebody come help my boy for real.”
The kush-up challenge, created by rapper Gillie Da Kid, gained popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Many rappers participated, including G Herbo, Jim Jones, Khalifa, Juicy J, and Snoop Dogg, who was crowned the kush-up champ. Snoop Dogg also revealed his new venture in the weed industry with his company called Death Row Cannabis. In 2016, Snoop Dogg and Khalifa collaborated on a song titled “Kush Ups.”
Mike Tyson, the former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion, has introduced his new high-end cannabis business, Tyson 2.0, to the Valley. Similar to his devastating combinations in the ring, Arizonans are expected to enjoy his selection of cannabis products, which includes full-spectrum cannabis flowers, extracts, and consumables that are both affordable and expensive. The Cannabist in Tempe is selling packages with 3.5 grams of flower and 1 gram pre-rolls in a variety of strains. Additionally, vapes and Mike Bites edibles will be available later this summer.
The Mike Bites edibles are ear-shaped candies that pay homage to the time when Tyson, also known as “The Chomp,” bit off a portion of Evander Holyfield’s ear during a heavyweight fight in 1997. Each cannabis-infused product will be missing a portion, reflecting this infamous moment.

Dalyn Oakes from JARS Cannabis remarked that they sell a lot of these strains, with probably a pound or two sold per day just for these few strains.
