Messi’s first stop on the holiday was Barcelona, where he was accompanied by Ángel Di María and Nicolás Otamendi, who were also given time off by the Argentina national team. In the past few hours, several pictures of the three Argentine players having lunch at Luis Suárez’s restaurant in Barcelona have been posted on Twitter.
The Uruguayan striker has a large culinary business in Spain. Chalito is the restaurant where Messi invited Di María and Otamendi, as he knows the place from having dined there countless times with his friend Lucho.
The restaurant has several locations in Barcelona and is about to open in Madrid. His favorite dish is milanesas, which coincidentally is Messi’s favorite dish (although it is cooked by his mother Celia).
