Lionel Messi and Adidas have just filmed a new commercial for the Messi Originals lifestyle collection. The Argentine actor himself, who plays a gardener and a crocodile, also participated in the video. But Leo’s fans were confused by an interesting detail in the plot.
In the video, Lionel is sitting in the garden and peeling an orange (perhaps a play on words based on the similarity of the words originals and oranges). In the background, a gardener is trimming bushes, and then a huge crocodile slowly crawls into the frame. The gardener is horrified, drops his work, and runs away, while Leo calmly puts the peel on a plate.
Social media users were a little surprised by this story, or rather, by the strange detail. First, for some reason, Messi peeled an orange with a knife, leaving a thick reflective layer (Kick cognitive – that’s the name of the white, spongy peel on citrus fruits).
All in all, Lionel’s way of cutting fruit is the weirdest and most awkward. Yes, Messi’s collection of embarrassing videos has just got another great addition.
