For some, however, the guest list includes some non-traditional attendees: Their beloved pets. Yup, many people invite their cats or dogs to their wedding as they want to have them included, too!
When Oliver’s pawrents were planning their wedding, they knew their adorable Scottish fold kitty had to somehow be involved in their special day.
After much consideration, they came up with a brilliant way to make it happen!
Not only did Oliver attend his parents’ wedding, but he also played a significant role: He was their ring bearer!
Dressed in an elegant black bow tie and arriving in a fancy white car adorned with a flower bouquet, Oliver rolled down the aisle, stealing the spotlight from the newlyweds.
Even the bride herself didn’t make as grand an entrance as Oliver did. He managed to upstage her, too, dressed all in white – which as we all know is a bold choice for a wedding!
Of course, it’s not his fault he has white fur, and it seems his mom didn’t mind, but maybe a tux would have been more appropriate, right?
All jokes aside, Oliver was quite the sensation that day, and no one could deny his charm!
Don’t think that Oliver was just there to look good that day. No, no, my friends! This special kitty understood the responsibility that came with his role.
Being a ring bearer might be a walk down the aisle – but it’s definitely no walk in the park. However, it turned out to be a piece of (wedding) cake for our Oliver!
Not only was he the best dressed that day, but he was also the one his parents could rely on the most. How wonderful!
After the ceremony, Oliver joined his parents for the wedding photoshoot. He was a natural in front of the camera and a true poser.
Maybe it’s in his genes, as he is the younger brother of feline Olivia Benson, one of Taylor Swift’s cats.
