David Beckham still loves Neymar reuniting with Messi?

According to Marca (Spain), President and co-owner of Inter Miami Club, Mr. David Beckham is still trying to recruit star Neymar to reunite with Messi for the 2025 season. The ambition of this former player and now successful businessman is to turn his team into an all-star team in MLS – the American professional soccer league.

“However, this is a very risky idea for David Beckham. He wants to turn Inter Miami into a star-studded team in attack, when what he really needs is reinforcements in defense. This is the position that cost Inter Miami and led to an early exit from the MLS Cup playoffs through losses to Atlanta United,” ESPN analyst Jeff Carlisle said on the Futbol Americas podcast.

“Inter Miami have always seemed to be in line with the salary cap and roster rules in MLS. And then they find themselves in a situation where they have to deal with the underdog. David Beckham believes that the team needs stars like Neymar, combined with Messi, along with Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez to make the team the best in the league. But I don’t think Neymar is what they need right now. I think they need to strengthen their defense and get some quality players in there,” Jeff Carlisle added.

However, the possibility of David Beckham recruiting Neymar is quite low, as this player plans to return to Brazil to play for Santos Club and invest in the team that has just been promoted to Serie A (Brazil). Therefore, the most practical goal of Mr. David Beckham is to complete the contract extension with Suarez, Jordi Alba and recruit more stars in the defense to balance the lines of Inter Miami.
