Evin, the adult cat, saw only one course of action when Jesse Ryan brought the ginger kitten Minnie home. He made him his own!
Minnie has never left Evin’s side and follows him around like a shadow. They’ve been together ever since they met. He’s barely visible. Just on a smaller scale. Also ginger. Yet, it appears that Evin is unconcerned. Having his own Mini-Me appears to be something he really enjoys. Of course, it would!
What coincidence!
The cat must be wondering how the little cat looks like him.
Same same but different.. eyes.
“It was instant chemistry between Evin and Minnie!” According to what Jessica Ryan, the owner, told Bored Panda. I believe it’s largely due to the fact that Minnie held on to Evin and left him with no alternative! They engage in endless play, snuggling, and wrestling. After eating, they also wipe each other down. They are inseparable. Tunie is our second grumpy elderly grey cat. As soon as she walks by, they start chasing after her and slapping her behind.
They seem to be getting along really well.
They both hit it off right away says Jessica.
Looks like Evin didn’t really have choice.
Evin is no longer so Minnie now that he is half Minnie’s size. Actually, he’ll be on the hunt for his very own Mini-Me very soon! Keep an eye out, Tunie…
Cause Minnie clung to Evin.
Minnie felt attached to Evin cause he looks similar is Jessica’s Opinion.
Apparently they clean each other after meals.
Cats typically reside with their relatives because of their strong sense of family. Within a family group, cats will groom each other, share eating and sleeping spaces, and even sleep together. This is why it’s not uncommon for cats to be adopted in pairs. Furthermore, compared to households that adopt a single kitten, those who adopt two kittens from the same litter have a significantly higher chance of keeping both cats as pets.
They wrestle nonstop.
Owners assume that Minnie came from Evin’s sister’s litter.
Even their owner is a ginger.
On the other hand, many adult cats aren’t great with cats from different families. It can be wise to limit the number of cats to a single adult when adopting one.
What a coincidence.
Adorable!
