Abandoned Cat Finally Shows His True Self After Finding Safety In A Foster Home

The Community Cat Club in the southern part of New Jersey is a nonprofit rescue organization that saved numerous cats from the streets.

Unfortunately, their volunteers encounter more abandoned cats every day. People usually abandon their cats once they move or cannot care for them any longer.

As sad as this is, luckily organizations like The Community Cat Club are more than ready to help these poor felines who were left all alone.

Such is the case of Tyson, an adorable giant cat in a tuxedo coat. This poor soul was left behind by his owner, all alone in a carrier.

He was rescued by this amazing organization, but this is when they realized Tyson was not able to open up in a shelter environment.

Tyson was so stressed in the kennel that he broke out of it and fell asleep in a food container!

This is when the organization put out a foster call for Tyson, hoping he would let his true personality shine in a safe environment.

Luckily, one of their foster volunteers Susan Sheets-Smith immediately answered the call, ready to welcome Tyson into her home.

From that day forward, Tyson flourished in his new home. He started cuddling and playing with Susan, showing her that he was just like every other cat! As Susan shared in her post:

“Plenty of personality in this guy. He is a great companion and he makes me laugh. He loves head scratches and chin rubs. He keeps a watchful eye on me.”

One more thing that made Susan laugh was the way Tyson would sit around in her house. He would just sit on his bum, like a tiny human, with his front paws just dangling on the side.

Tyson looked like a tiny businessman in his tuxedo coat, tired after a long day at work, LOL!

All jokes aside, the safe environment of a foster home just proved to everyone that Tyson was more than ready for a forever home. As The Cat Community Club shared on their Instagram:

“Adopting Tyson means gaining a friend who will provide endless entertainment, affection, and a sense of calm to your home. Tyson is waiting to bring joy to his forever home. Will that be with you? Tyson was abandoned locally back in April and is definitely ready for his forever home.”

Hopefully, this sweet giant will soon find his forever home, where he can spend the rest of his life as a happy, chubby cat!

This story proves to us once more, just how important foster volunteers are. With their love and attention, so many cats can show their true personality!
