Couple adopts 450 abandoned cats and dogs
Nguyen Quoc Khanh (now 33 years old) and his wife Tran Uyen Nhu (now 31 years old) met when they were both eighteen and twenty. The first time I saw Khanh, Nhu was impressed because he was mature, right in taste, dressed in a dashing suit. And Khanh noticed because Nhu had a beautiful smile and she also laughed a lot.
Thanks to a friend, the two had a chance to chat. About 1-2 weeks later, it was Nhu who took the initiative to “listen”. After 2 months, they officially became a couple. As originally a young lady from a well-off family, Khanh was born and raised in an ordinary family. At first, Khanh was a bit self-deprecating, but later he saw that Nhu’s person was very special, although he was a rich child, he was not arrogant.
During the dating period, the two also started with rescue work, taking care of abandoned dogs and cats. Up to now, they are taking care of 450 dogs and cats. The couple rented a station in Binh Chanh, 550m2 wide for dogs and cats to live in, how much money they make, they spend to take care of their pets. In every word of the couple Nhu, they show their affection for dogs and cats. They often call them “little ones” who are very cuddly.
At first, Nhu’s parents did not agree that their daughter only cared about volunteering and did not take care of her own work. However, in order to convince the adults, Nhu brought his parents to visit the station, seeing the scene of a pet being treated from a serious illness to being able to cause trouble, his parents began to support and help. . In addition, Khanh and Nhu also received support from sponsors.

Currently, the husband and wife’s main work is selling dog and cat food, decorating wedding parties and taking care of pets. When anyone needs help with dog and cat rescue, they can message via Fanpage or call, Nhu and her husband will immediately support. The heaviest case that the couple has ever supported was a new dog that gave birth to a baby, went to find food and had an accident and was seriously injured. The treatment for this dog cost more than 36 million VND.
This job also put the couple in danger when Nhu confided: “It’s normal for me to be bitten by children. The worst bite caused me to have 36 stitches on my face. It was a big dog that I rescued. I found the dog very affectionate but forgot that he had not been back for long. I hugged it and it freaked out and bit me right in the face.
After biting me, the baby stopped eating for 3 days in a row. When I came back from the hospital and encouraged him, he would eat again. Since then, the dog is gentler and has more affection for me”, Nhu confided.

Unfilial reputation for deciding not to have children
Nhu and Khanh have been in love for 12 years before getting married in 2021. At the time of love for 6-7 years, the couple planned to have a wedding, but because the dogs and cats were seriously ill, they both used it all. set of wedding money to take care of them.
Khanh and Nhu also decided not to have children to take care of the dogs and cats. This is Khanh’s opinion and Nhu agrees.
“It’s strange, during the time with my wife taking care of the children, I don’t want her to suffer more. Every day, my wife receives calls like: “I have just given birth, I am afraid that dog and cat hair will affect the baby, please adopt me”. My wife is under a lot of stress.
I talk to my parents first. Parents are adults, seeing that they say the right point of view, they also agree,” Khanh shared.
Currently, Khanh and Nhu are nursing 450 dogs and cats.
Following her husband’s words, Nhu added: “There are many friends who say that they are unfilial because they do not have children to continue their family. I also cry, sad a lot, I love my father and mother like that, but I am said to be unfilial.
But my husband was the one who told me to not be sad anymore and tried to take care of the children. There are also many articles saying that I accept sacrifices, not giving birth to take care of the children, but actually that is my choice, because I like it. I think I choose the kids more.
My parents don’t quite agree with the fact that we won’t have a baby. Because their parents are worried that the two old children will have no one to take care of in the future. But we said we’ll take care of each other or go to a nursing home together.”
Khanh and Nhu’s life revolves around dogs and cats. Therefore, the stories in their marriage always have the shadow of a pet.
Both decided not to have children.
Talking about his wife’s bad habits, Khanh witty said: “My wife loves dogs and cats more than her husband. She’s also a bit messy.” That said, Khanh doesn’t want Nhu to change anything, as long as his wife always feels happy.
In Nhu’s eyes, the husband is a bit rude, but never rude to his wife. Khanh loves his wife very much, happy and sad according to her feelings. Whenever Nhu is happy, Khanh is also happy. Like stress, Khanh also stressed. As well as not expecting Khanh to change, just hope he reduces stress so that his mind is at ease.
