Jaelle, a foster volunteer with Un Chat à la Fois, a kitten rescue in Quebec, Canadian, immediately opened the door for the sweet feline. She sent Marie Simard, the founder of Un Chat à la Fois, a photo of the cat.

“His face said everything that needed to be said,” she added. “He stayed in front of her door for a while, and as soon as I told her to get him, he didn’t try to get away.”The cat was taken to the vet where he was cared and received medical treatment. He was covered in bite wounds, fleas and ticks and was suffering from frostbite, rotten teeth and diabetes. If he hadn’t asked for help, there was no way he would have made it through that cold winter.
The cat was named Aslan, after the lion in “The Chronicles of Narnia” series. After a few days of care and love at the clinic, Aslan’s health improved and he moved into a foster home, where he got love and care from his new foster mom.

Aslan loved his foster mom and made sure her knew how happy he was to be her side. “He’s a very affectionate cat,” Simard said. “He likes to sleep close to his foster mom.”We are happy to know that Aslan is living his best life with all the luxuries that he deserves. He no longer has to fight for food or shelter or brave the bitter cold. He has a loving family that loves him so much.
