Aston Martin introduces the new V12 Vantage Roadster, an exceptionally exciting and ultra-exclusive limited production model that combines the exhilarating performance of its most powerful Vantage with the sensory stimulation and freedom of open-top driving.

Production is strictly limited to just 249 customer examples worldwide, all of which sold out even before launch. The V12 Vantage Roadster features a captivating combination of dramatic wide-body design, ground-hugging wide-track suspension, and a first-time inclusion for a Vantage Roadster: the mighty 5.2-liter Twin-Turbo V12 engine.

Generating 700PS at 6,500rpm and 753Nm of torque at 5,500rpm, the 5.2-litre 60-degree V12 with four cams is a true force of nature. With lightning-fast 0-60 mph acceleration in just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph, the V12 Vantage Roadster is at the pinnacle of open-top sports car performance. Equipped with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission and a rear-mounted mechanical Limited-Slip Differential (LSD), this car exhibits the purity and balance of a front-mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout.An optimized transmission calibration ensures quick shifts and maximizes driver interaction, while adaptive software in the transmission control system monitors operating conditions and driver demands, improving driver’s sense of response and control. Like the V12 Vantage, the V12 Vantage Roadster comes standard with powerful Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCBs). The front discs measure 410mm x 38mm and are held in place by 6-piston calipers, while the rear discs, which measure 360mm x 32mm, are paired with 4-piston calipers.

These carbon ceramic brakes provide significantly increased stopping power and excellent resistance to brake fade at high temperatures. In addition, CCB technology contributes to a substantial weight saving of 23kg compared to steel brakes, benefiting steering response and ride quality. Sharing the same suspension hardware as the V12 Vantage, the V12 Vantage Roadster features a custom tune to its adaptive dampers, ensuring their dynamics are honed to deliver an incredibly sharp and responsive driving experience.

Plus, a lightweight battery and specially designed mid-mounted dual-exit exhaust system made from lightweight 1mm stainless steel contribute to additional savings.Tuned to produce an enthusiastic sound to match its striking appearance, the V12 Vantage Roadster’s aerodynamic performance is also evident in its newly sculpted one-piece sills and rear bumper, which feature an integrated diffuser. The effectiveness of the diffuser is enhanced by routing the centrally mounted dual tailpipe exhaust system.

Unlike the V12 Vantage, the V12 Vantage Roadster doesn’t come with the spectacular rear wing as standard, although it can be specified as an option. This design choice highlights the roadster’s focus on monster performance, where striking form is driven by function.

For example, the wide-body design is essential to accommodate the wide-track suspension, which is 40mm wider than the standard Vantage. The redesigned front bumper, with a full-width front splitter, generates additional downforce and improved aerodynamic balance. Additionally, improved cooling is achieved through a 25% larger reshaped front grille and “horseshoe” shaped engine vent on the hood.

The final visual touches on the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster come in the form of stunning 21-inch alloy wheels, available in two finishes: Satin Black or Diamond Turned Satin Black.
